Person hurt after being hit by car in Cheadle

A person was hurt after being hit by a car in Cheadle.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on High Street at around 12.35pm on Friday (September 25).

The person was hurt, but their injuries do not appear to be serious, police said.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and is assisting officers with enquiries.

No arrests have been made.

High Street was closed off this afternoon while emergency services dealt with the collision.

It was blocked in both directions between Manchester Road and Wilmslow Road.

The road reopened at around 1.30pm.
