Person hit by train between Neilston and Cathcart

A person has been hit by a train on the line between Neilston and Cathcart this morning.

Emergency services are dealing with the incident, with train services between both Glasgow Central and Neilston stations currently suspended as a result.

Scotrail anticipate that disruption will continue until approximately midday, with ticket acceptance now in place with McGill's Buses between Glasgow - Neilston/Barrhead in both directions.

Rail passengers can also use First Buses on the following routes: 3, 4/A, 5, 6, 7/A, 18, 21, 31, 34/A, 38, 57/A, 75, 90.
