Person hit by train between Hyndland and Anniesland stations in Glasgow

Scotrail has announced that a person has been hit by a train on the North Clyde line between Hydland and Anniesland.

The Scottish train service reported the collision late on Sunday January 16.

Trains between Partick and Anniesland travelling to Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street have been cancelled. Passengers stranded at train stations on the Glasgow line have been advised to get in touch with the platform Help Point as Scotrail are making urgent alternative arrangements.

Scotrail tweeted at 11.42pm: "NEW: Sadly, a person has been hit by a train between Hyndland and Anniesland."

"Right now we can't run any trains between Partick & Anniesland, nor between Partick & Jordanhill."

"If you're waiting on a train affected by this, please get in touch using a platform Help Point"

"If you're travelling west of Glasgow city centre tonight, get in touch so we can help you with alternative arrangements.
