A person has sadly been hit by a train between Glasgow Central station and Paisley.
Emergency services have been called to the scene.
As such, the line remains closed, with rail services disrupted.
Scotrail confirmed on Twitter at 9.44pm on Friday evening: "Sadly, a person has been hit by a train between Paisley Gilmour Street and Glasgow Central.
"The line is currently closed while the emergency services attend."
Glasgow Live have contacted the British Transport Police for comment.
