A person was found fatally shot Tuesday in Roseland on the Far South Side.
About 4:50 a.m. a male witness called police after her heard gunshots in the 400 block of East 112th Street, and looked outside and saw a male laying on the ground.
Officers found that the male with a gunshot wound to the back of his head, police said. He was rushed to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released the details of his death.
Area Two detectives are investigating.
