Person 'falls from height' at Aberdeen student flats as police rush to scene

A person has fallen 'from a height' near to a block of student flats in Aberdeen .

Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene of the Ardmuir complex near the city's King Street at around 8.15am.

As reported , the emergency services were responding to reports of a fall at the building.

Police have now confirmed they are in attendance - but could not say the condition of the person.

A spokeswoman said: “We received reports around 8.15am on Monday, 9 March, 2020 of a person having fallen from a height on King Street.

“Emergency services are currently in attendance.”

A number of police cars were spotted at the scene and they later taped off the building.

On Facebook Paul Thomesen wrote: "Just walked passed this. Looks serious. Ambulances in attendance first. Then police called."
