A person has died after an early morning crash involving one vehicle in Swansea.
South Wales Police said the crash happened at 3:50am this morning at the junction between Kingsway and Carmarthen Road, Fforestfach, Swansea.
Carmarthen Road was closed for around six hours while emergency services worked at the scene, and South Wales Police was advising motorists to avoid the area.

Police are appealing for witnesses that may have travelled through the area in the minutes after the collision, or were witnesses to the manner of driving of a black Vauxhall Insignia, to call 101.
