Person dies after being hit by a train between Taunton and Weston-super-Mare

It's been confirmed a person has died after being hit by a train between Taunton and Weston-super-Mare.

The incident caused some disruption to trains running between Taunton and Weston-super-Mare this morning.

Great Western Railway services couldn't run between the stations until 09:45am and CrossCountry services were diverted away from Weston-super-Mare station.
