Perrie Edwards has sparked engagement rumours after joking about taking her footballer boyfriend’s last name.
The Little Mix star, 26, was celebrating Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s goal for Liverpool against Belgian club Genk on Tuesday when she spelt his name wrong.
In a post to her Instagram page, Edwards wrote: “You to me are everything, my Alex Oxlade-Chamberlaine, oh baby oh babehh!”
A follower then pointed out that she spelt his name wrong, as did the midfielder, which she revealed in series of screenshots on her story.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, 26, said: “Looool. Also I cannot believe you spelt my name wrong on your story.”
Edwards responded: “I hate myself.

“It’ll be way easier to spell when it’s my second name and I have to write it all the time!”
The couple have been dating since 2017 after Edwards posted a photograph of them kissing in front of the Eiffel Tower on Instagram.
Edwards was previously engaged to her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik for two years but the couple broke up in 2015.
They had been together since Little Mix competed on the X Factor in 2011.
