Perrie Edwards has broken her silence on rumours that she and footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are planning to get married in the near .
The Little Mix star and Liverpool footballer have been dating since the end of 2016, after Perrie was seen at the Emirates Stadium to catch Alex's former team Arsenal in action before Alex was spotted in the audience at The X Factor to see the girls perform number 1 Shout Out To My Ex.
The pair now live together and went viral during lockdown thanks to a Tik-Tok challenge, but South Shields singer Perrie has shut down talk that they'll soon be engaged.
The 27-year-old told Metro : "We always talk about the future.
"He's my forever, but I don't think we are ready to get engaged any time soon."
Speculation of an engagement between the loved up pair was sparked last year after Little Mix fans picked up on the fact that Perrie misspelled Alex's second name.
She responded: "It'll be well easier to spell when it's my second name and I have to write it all the time!"
Perrie and her Little Mix bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson have been kept busy by the release of new single Holiday, while their new BBC talent show The Search will soon hit screens after its launch was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Jade also excited fans who tuned into Lorraine on Friday by teasing that the X Factor winners had "a cheeky few things up our sleeve as well show wise," after, like many concerts, their summer tour was cancelled because of COVID-19.
