Perrie Edwards leads celebrations as Liverpool lift Premier League trophy

Liverpool have lifted the Premier League trophy for the first time in 30 years.

The Reds played Chelsea at Anfield tonight and romped to victory in a 5-3 win.

As the goals continued to fly into the back of the net the player's partners shared support for them on social media.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's girlfriend Little Mix star Perrie Edwards shared a photo of her boyfriend after he scored a goal.

She captioned the photo: "So So So proud of you, Getttt innnn my babeh (love heart emoji)."

Perrie then shared a photo of the trophy lift with the song "we are the champions" playing in the background.

Roberto Firmino's wife Larissa also shared a photo of her husband following his goal in the game.

Larissa, Rebeca Tavares, and Natalia Becker all masked up to watch the ceremony inside a mostly empty stadium.

Joe Gomez's fiance Tamara Tia shared a video of her fiance receiving his Premier League medal live from Anfield and captioned it "JG12 (love heart emoji)."

Liverpool is a club with many celebrity fans and the great and the good were thrilled to see their team finally lift the much-longed for trophy.

Comedian John Bishop tweeted a photo of the team lifting the trophy and simply captioned it: "YEEESSS."


Chef Simon Rimmer shared the video of the trophy lift and simply captioned it: "no words needed."


Love Island voiceover artist Iain Stirling was fully prepared for the momentous night as he shared a snap of himself in his Liverpool shirt and said: "Tonight's the night."

Actor Jason Isaacs said: "At this time of terrible division and tribalism, one of the few rays of hope is that everyone in the world can at least agree on one thing: Liverpool are the greatest football club in the world - always have been, always will be."

Liverpool radio legend Pete Price said: "You can only say one thing #champions2019/20 a piece of history @LFC. #LFCchampions Simply The Best. Truly amazing"
