With barbers and salons closed for the foreseeable future, people have been taking drastic actions to chop their locks.
This includes Liverpool's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who entrusted his girlfriend Perrie Edwards with his precious head of hair.
The Little Mix singer and Oxlade-Chamberlain are currently self-isolating with each other in their flat.
Yesterday, Oxlade-Chamberlain decided it was time to take matters into his own hands and gave Perrie the hair clippers.
Posting a video of the trim, Oxlade-Chamberlain said: "Look at the Afro, it’s flourishing."
Perrie then told her followers: "We need to cut his hair. Now he won’t let me but…"
Oxlade-Chamberlain interrupted : "I said yes!"
Leaving Perrie panicking, saying: "Now you’ve said yes, I’m actually quite scared, I don’t want to do it."
Sitting in their bathroom, Perrie was instructed on what to do by Oxlade-Chamberlain's hairdresser via FaceTime.
This included her pulling his ears and shouting at him to keep his head still.
Unsatisfied with the result, Oxlade-Chamberlain took the clippers and proceeded to give himself a haircut.
But disaster struck and he accidentally shaved his sideburn off.
Perrie posted a picture saying: "I’m staying clear of these hair shenanigans.
"No chance I’m getting the blame for that diabolical trim."
