Perrie Edwards' baby son Axel in crowd to see Little Mix in Newcastle

Perrie Edwards posted a picture of baby son Axel in the crowd as Little Mix performed at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle on Saturday.

After kicking off the Confetti tour in Belfast last weekend, before heading to Dublin, Perrie and bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock arrived in Newcastle on Friday to kick off three shows at the city's Utilita Arena. They got things of to an epic start on Friday night, with loud screams greeting the now trio as they burst onto stage to launch in 2016 number 1 Shout Out To My Ex.

After a show that saw Little Mix pull loads of hits out their jam packed back catalogue, Perrie unwound with a late night takeaway in her hotel room as she was joined by man Deborah. And then on Saturday afternoon, it became a real family affair both backstage and in the audience as little Axel, Perrie's son with Liverpool player Alex-Oxlaide Chamberlain, joined her at the arena.

Perrie first uploaded a photo her of holding Axel up in the air to Instagram, with them both wearing Little Mix hoodies and jogging bottom, although she did reveal that things hadn't quite gone to plan, captioning the shot: "We were in matching Little Mix tracksuits but in true baby style he sh*t everywhere. But here we are! Watching his first ever show."

Things got even cuter at the end of the 28-year-old's Insta post, with a short video of Axel in the crowd, wearing ear defenders as the camera panned round to Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne performing Heartbreak Anthem near the start of their matinee show in Newcastle. After they came off stage and prepared for show number three, Jade and Leigh-Anne both commented on the post, with Jade writing: "Too MUCHHHHHH," and Leigh-Anne reacting: "Such a dream."
