She announced the news on Instagram, writing: “Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21.”
Ms Edwards hasn’t revealed the name of her baby but shared a black and white picture of their little hand resting on the side of their face, as well as one of their little foot.
Many took to the comments to congratulate the singer on her new bundle of joy.
TV presenter Laura Whitmore wrote: “Welcome baby!”, while The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Popey commented: “The most special time, huge congratulations.”
Ms Edwards’ boyfriend, footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, also shared the same images on his own Instagram page, alongside a caption which read: “Welcome to the world little one”.
The 28-year-old and Mr Oxlade-Chamberlain have been together for four and a half years.
The pop star announced she was expecting her first child with the Liverpool F.C player in May, days after her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock announced her own pregnancy news.
