Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and his partner Perrie Edwards have announced the name of their first child.
The Little Mix singer gave birth to the couple’s first child on August 21, which led to the Liverpool midfielder being absent from selection due to personal reasons.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was absent from Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League last month, as Anfield hosted its first capacity crowd for a competitive fixture in almost 18 months.
“Welcome to the world little one,” wrote Oxlade-Chamberlain, when announcing the birth of his son.
On her latest Instagram post, Edwards posted a photo of their child and a caption announcing the baby’s name.

“Two weeks of loving you,” wrote Edwards. “I’ve never felt love like this before! Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain.”
England international Oxlade-Chamberlain, who joined Liverpool from Arsenal for £35million on August 31 2017, has been dating Edwards since February of the same year.
His Liverpool career has been held back largely due to a number of injuries which have restricted his playing time at Anfield.
Oxlade-Chamberlain started the first game of the season in the win over Norwich City, and was back in the matchday squad as an unused substitute in last week’s draw with Chelsea.
