Perplexcity has rolled out a new Email Assistant. It will give Gmail and Outlook users a built-in AI helper for managing their inbox. While the tool is already available, it is limited to Perplexity Max subscribers.
The assistant can be added to any email thread to take over scheduling tasks. It checks everyone’s availability, suggests meeting times, and even sends out calendar invites without needing extra input.
Along with the scheduling, Perplexity Email Assistant organises your emails by automatically labelling priorities, so important messages don’t get buried. It can also draft replies that match your usual tone and style, saving time on routine responses.
Though Google has also added some new features to Gmail that help you track deliveries and spot the best deals, the company has added a dedicated purchase tracking view that gathers all your orders and delivery updates into a single, organised list. Plus, the company is also working on a feature that will sort promotional emails by “most relevant,” prioritising offers from brands and senders you engage with most.
