'Permanent club' - Liverpool fans offer Nottingham Forest transfer verdict

Liverpool fans have been reacting to transfer rumours linking midfielder Pedro Chirivella to Nottingham Forest this month.

According to website Goal, Jurgen Klopp's side are expecting the 22-year-old to depart Anfield now the January transfer window is open.

It is said the Reds have already had two offers from Championship sides for the Spaniard, with Forest name-checked as a side who want to take on Chirivella.

Liverpool wanted to wait for the FA Cup clash with Everton on Sunday, in which Chirivella played the full 90 minutes.

The midfielder is unlikely to get a crack at the Reds' first team this season given the strength of the runaway Premier League leaders' squad.

And Liverpool fans have been chatting about what their club ought to do with Chirivella.

Here's the reaction on social media...

@ KenSheppard3 : It is thought he wants to go home to Spain, feeling homesick! I think the club should do their utmost to keep him.

@ Tino_LFC : Lust because there is interest from the championship doesn’t mean he will go.

@ MichiganLfc : Hope he finds a permanent club.

@ Greenerthegoat : Class yesterday, would smash the championship

@ AndrewQ68003418 : He will sign new deal then go out on loan I hope

@ Riz1istan : Good move for Pedro tbf. Nottingham forrest have been playing good football these last few weeks in the Championship

@ HekkeYNWA : Keep them both for now!
