It’s the lockdown news Peri-Peri chicken lovers have been waiting for – Nando’s have reopened its East Kilbride restaurant.
The wait is finally over as the EK branch has reopened today for delivery and click & collect, for the first time since it closed last year.
Local fans of PERi-PERi can enjoy their favourite grub from the comfort of their own homes.
Available to order at nandos.co.uk from today, all orders placed through Nando’s website can earn chillies through Nando’s loyalty scheme, which can be redeemed on click & collect orders or when the restaurant reopens its doors for dine-in service later in the year.
The menu will be reduced to help the team maintain social distancing in the kitchen and food prep areas, but fear not, as the majority of Nando’s favourites, such as PERi-PERi Chicken Wings, Halloumi Sticks and PERi-chips will still be available, along with new and exciting additions such as The Great Imitator and PERi-PERi Sweet Potato Wedges.
Nando’s East Kilbride restaurant is working under strict government guidelines on top of its existing health and safety procedures.
Every member of the team has been washing their hands more frequently while maintaining social distancing during shifts, and PPE is available for all staff to wear.
The restaurant team will also be working hard to make sure that deliveries are as safe as possible.
Drivers will maintain social distancing while waiting to pick up orders, restaurant staff will hand over food while maintaining social distancing and contactless delivery will be available upon request.
