'Perfect line-up' - Arsenal fans react to Mikel Arteta's team selection for Burnley clash

Arsenal fans have reacted to Mikel Arteta's lineup for their trip to Burnley this afternoon and it's fair to say that the response has been very positive

Arteta has retained the exact same backline as the one selected against Norwich last Saturday, with Takehiro Tomiyasu keeping his place at right-back.

There were a lot of questions surrounding who the Gunners boss will select between the sticks, following recent reports stating that Bernd Leno could be back in action against Tottenham Hotspur next Sunday.

But for today, Aaron Ramsdale keeps his place in the starting eleven and will without a shadow of a doubt be heavily involved in dealing with crosses and set pieces.

The big news coming out of the team sheet was the inclusion of Thomas Partey, and with both Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard selected as well, it seems the Arsenal manager has gone for a 4-3-3, much to the delight of Arsenal fans across Twitter.

Across the frontline, Pierre Emerick Aubamaeyng leads the line and will hope to increase his tally this afternoon. The Gabon international has a very impressive record against Sean Dyche's men, scoring 7 goals in 7 encounters, and will hope to increase his tally after getting off the mark last weekend.

Nicolas Pepe and Bukayo Saka occupy the wings and overall, this looks to be an extremely attacking line-up selected.

Arteta has failed to pick up a win against Burnley as Arsenal manager and will definitely be desperate to break this record with a convincing result today.

Starting team: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Pepe, Aubameyang, Saka

Subs: Leno, Holding, Cedric, Tavares, Mari, Maitland-Niles, Lokonga, Lacazette, Martinelli
