Perfect Jose Antonio Reyes tribute offered up by Liverpool player Alberto Moreno

The footballing world was shocked on Saturday morning when it was announced that Jose Antonio Reyes had passed away following a car accident in Spain.

Fast-forward to the Champions League final and afterwards, Liverpool player Alberto Moreno offered up a perfect tribute.

Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 on the night after Mohamed Salah's penalty goal following Moussa Sissoko's handball, before Divock Origi scored late on to seal a sixth European Cup win for the Reds.

Whilst the focus post-match was naturally on Liverpool's success, Moreno still had Reyes in his thoughts as the video below shows. The defender's t-shirt reads 'Te quiero hermano'. In Spanish that means 'I love you brother'.

Moreno played with the fellow Spaniard, who was aged 35, during his time with Sevilla. The pair won the Europa League together in 2014, beating Benfica on penalties.
