Nicholas Ioannou is set to travel to Nottingham Forest this week to finally wrap up a move to the City Ground from Apoel, a journalist has claimed.
Sportime's Gerasimons Manolidis says everything has been agreed with the Reds' bid to land the former Manchester United defender.
Ioannou has been consistently linked with a move to the Reds this summer, with claims first appearing in July that Sabri Lamouchi was keen on signing the highly-rated 24-year-old.
Manolidis claims that a fee of 850,000 Euros has been agreed with a sell-on clause inserted as part of the deal.
He said: "A source in Cyprus told that Nicholas Ioannou transfer to NFFC is as good as perfect.
"Apoel will receive 850K euros and will hold a small next sale percentage. The player will travel to Nottingham to finalize everything in the upcoming days."

Ioannou missed Cyprus' defeat to Montenegro at the weekend due to personal reasons which has sparked further speculation about his future.
It was claimed that Ioannou informed the coach of Cyprus team, Johan Valem of his decision and his manager granted his absence.
Should the Reds complete a deal for Ioannou, they would be signing a player who has courted much attention for his performances in his homeland.
He actually started his career in England after being spotted by Manchester United at a football camp in Cyprus.
He played alongside the likes of Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay, going on to become the reserve team captain at Old Trafford.
He left the Red Devils, however, when David Moyes was appointed Sir Alex Ferguson's successor, owing to a hip problem which played a big part in him not securing a professional contract.
Since returning to his homeland, Ioannou's stock has risen considerably and he is considered as one of the country's brightest prospects.
