Peppa Pig: My First Concert is coming to Bristol - here's how to get tickets

Peppa Pig fans in Bristol are in for the night of their lives next year when a concert based on the hit animated series comes to the city.

The popular pig and her family will be at St George's on Monday, May 25 with three performances at midday, 2pm and 4pm.

Peppa Pig: My First Concert is described as 'a fun interactive introduction to a live orchestra with everyone’s favourite pig family'.

The production is based on Entertainment One’s creation and aims to give children a chance to experience their first concert in a way that is truly meaningful to them.

The production is based on Entertainment One’s series (Birmingham Live)

A spokesperson for the event said: "From Mozart to Muddy Puddles! Peppa Pig – My First Concert is a fun interactive introduction to a live orchestra with everyone’s favourite Pig family!

"Join Peppa as she discovers an orchestra for the first time in this accessible and exciting concert specially designed for the youngest audience members.

"Sing and dance along with Peppa in her favourite songs, watch as Daddy Pig learns how to conduct an orchestra, explore all the different sounds that the instruments make and enjoy familiar tunes as well as discovering some exciting orchestral pieces perfect for little ones."

Specially designed for the youngest audience members, this allows them, together with Peppa, to discover an orchestra for the first time.

Flautist and children’s concert specialist Jane Mitchell has been heavily involved in the creation of this union of children's entertainment and live orchestra.

As Creative Director and principal flautist of critically acclaimed British chamber orchestra Aurora, Jane has worked alongside arranger Iain Farrington to interweave beloved Peppa Pig songs into classics by Beethoven and others, including Tchaikovsky, Mozart and Grieg.

Various versions of Peppa Pig Live have been touring for 16 years - and have been enjoyed by over 1.5 million people in the UK alone.

Peppa Pig Live has also toured throughout the US and Australia and played nine consecutive West End Christmas seasons.

Now, Peppa has decided it’s time to embrace the orchestra on her next endeavour.

Tickets range in price from £11 up to £18.
