Pep Lijnders has revealed Jurgen Klopp was in contact with Liverpool's dressing room during half-time of the dramatic clash with Chelsea.
Klopp was forced to miss the game at Stamford Bridge on Sunday after a suspected positive coronavirus test was confirmed the previous day.
Liverpool, missing a host of players, went two goals ahead early on but were pegged back to 2-2 shortly before the interval.

And in explaining Klopp's communication with the coaching staff and players, Lijnders revealed the Reds boss had words for his players ahead of the second half at Stamford Bridge.
"We were in contact over the last two days," said Lijnders to LFC TV. "We prepared the team yesterday (Saturday) with everything we had.
"We tried to keep it as natural as we could for the players so not a lot of things changed. I think the players accepted it and did really well.
"We had constantly contact, Jurgen and myself.
"It was nice to hear at half-time his voice and he sounds okay. But of course he should focus on his health and getting better."
With no further goals scored in the second half, Liverpool remain in third place, a point behind Chelsea in second and 11 adrift of leaders Manchester City, albeit with a game in hand on both.
Klopp's ongoing isolation period means he will also be absent from the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg at Arsenal on Thursday, with Lijnders again expected to take charge at the stadium.
