Pep Guardiola has a plan to fund Harry Kane’s transfer from Tottenham, with the star desperate for a move to Man City.
City raised £60million to help fund Jack Grealish’s record £100m transfer to the Etihad by moving on a number of players and they could be set to earn another £40m to fund Kane’s transfer.
The Premier League champions sold the likes of Angelino, Jack Harrison, Lukas Nmecha and Ivan Ilic to help offset the fee, while they also earned funds from the sell-on clause in Jadon Sancho’s contract.
City already have four potential deals already lined up to help move the Kane transfer along.

The first of which is highly rated 21-year-old Pedro Porro, who is currently on loan at Sporting CP.
Porro has an €8.5m [£7.2m] option to buy clause inserted in his contract which could lead to the Portuguese champions signing the youngster.
Venezuelan defensive midfielder Yangel Herrera – who spent the previous two campaigns on loan in Spain with Granada, could also be sold for around £20m.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Morgan Rogers is reportedly attracting interest from Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.
Patrick Roberts could also be on his way out of the club after failing to impress since joining City in 2015 as a youngster from Fulham.
The 24-year-old has been sent out on loan no fewer than five times since moving to Manchester and has had spells at Celtic, Girona, Norwich, Middlesbrough and Derby.

Lukas Nmecha, Jack Harrison, Ivan Ilic and Tosin Adarabioyo all have sell-on clauses in their contract which could also generate funds for City further down the line.
Brahim Diaz, who recently joined AC Milan on loan from Real Madrid with a potential purchase option of €25m, could also raise as much as £3m in sell-on fees.
City could also offload Portuguese attacker Bernardo Silva, who has reportedly been linked with a player-plus-cash swap deal to help sign Kane.
Kane returned to training with Spurs on Tuesday and is expected to play some part in their Europa League Conference clash with Pacos Ferreira in Portugal on Thursday.
Guardiola has made it no secret he is an admirer of the Premier League Golden Boot winner, and the City boss didn’t rule out a potential move for the striker when asked earlier in the month.

“He’s a player for Tottenham Hotspur. If Tottenham don’t want to negotiate, it’s finished. If they are open to negotiate, I think not just Man City but many clubs in the world want to try to sign him – we are not an exception – but it depends on Tottenham,” said Guardiola.
“It’s different from Jack. Jack had a release clause and he is different. Harry Kane is an exceptional, extraordinary striker – no doubts about that, of course we are interested – but he is a Tottenham player and, if they don’t want to negotiate, there is nothing more to say. If they want to, we will try.”
