Pep Guardiola reveals why he 'dreams' of being Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti

Pep Guardiola has revealed he 'dreams' of being as calm as Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Manchester City boss Guardiola has guided his team to 19 consecutive victories in all competitions ahead of facing West Ham United on Saturday.

City have opened up a 10-point lead at the top of the Premier League table but West Ham, managed by David Moyes, remain in the hunt for Champions League qualification in fourth.

When asked about former Everton boss Moyes, Guardiola replied: "This season speaks for itself. He understands football perfectly and has a lot of experience.

"I know these managers. I dream of arriving in this position one day like Carlo Ancelotti where everything is calm.

"It is like they live calm, like a Buddha life. In the good moments, they are calm. In the bad moments, they are calm. He gives you experience to do this."

Guardiola also revealed Moyes gave him advice on his first day as manager of Manchester City in the Premier League while the Scot was in charge of Sunderland in 2016.

Moyes told the Spaniard: "Try to buy the best wine possible to invite the manager [for a drink] when you win the game!"
