Pep Guardiola provides update on Man City future after Juventus announce Max Allegri departure

Pep Guardiola insists his future lies at Manchester City after quashing speculation linking him with Juventus.

Serie A has long been seen as Guardiola's next destination, having won titles with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and City in Spain, Germany and England.

Juventus announced they were parting company with Massimiliano Allegri earlier on Friday and Guardiola has previously been linked with a move to Turin.

But Guardiola's City contract still has two years to run and the Catalan insists he is going nowhere and that he is happy at the Etihad.

Next season will be Guardiola's fourth at City. He spent four years at the Nou Camp before leaving for a sabattical and then three years at Bayern, but his City contract could take him to five years in Manchester.

"How many times do I say, I’m not going to Juventus," Guardiola said.

"I’m staying here two more seasons, if they want me. I'm satisfied working here and I’m not going anywhere. Maybe next season will be not good but next season I’m manager of Man City, I’ve said it many times."
