Pep Guardiola has once again reassured he will be Manchester City manager next season, saying he'll only leave if he's sacked.
The Spaniard has never managed a club for more than four years, and will have been at the club for five whole campaigns if he continues next season.
As a result he's been linked with a move away from City, with the board reportedly putting a contingency plan in place in the event of the worst case scenario.
But Guardiola has played down leaving this summer, saying he enjoys working at the club, even if things aren't going to plan.
"I say many times, unless the club sack me, I'm going to stay 100 per cent," said Guardiola. "For sure, 100 per cent I'm going to stay here next season.
"Not because we won the last two games or playing better the last few months.
"I enjoy working with them and I like it, but even if it's going bad and we are not in the Champions League, I will not leave.
"As a manager, there are good and bad moments, you don't win all the time. But it's all about what we can do next and how we can improve."
Guardiola needed a season to find his feet in the Premier League, finishing third in his first campaign in charge of Manchester City.
But it didn't take the Spaniard long to adapt, and he went on to guide City to back to back titles in the following campagins.
This season City are on course to finish second, with Liverpool running away with the title.
