Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola pinpointed Manchester United’s long-ball tactics following their 2-0 Premier League defeat on Sunday.
Ederson had a day to forget, allowing Anthony Martial’s shot to squirm under his body as United took the lead on the half hour at Old Trafford.
And the Brazilian was once again at fault for United’s second, throwing his clearance straight to Scott McTominay, who made no mistake in putting the long-range effort in the back of the net in the closing seconds of the game.
Despite the goalkeeper’s horror show, Guardiola decided instead to question the home side’s direct approach following the game.

He told the BBC: "We played good, we missed a little in the final third but the second half was better and it was a good performance.
"We play the same way, tried the press and defend well and we did well.
"Our game is there, we played really good in terms of coming here. They wait and did long balls on the counter-attack for Daniel James and Anthony Martial.

"We did our game but unfortunately we conceded a goal. They waited for our mistakes.”
City missed a cutting edge in the final third that is usually provided by their playmaker Kevin de Bruyne.
The Belgian star missed the game because of a shoulder injury he picked up in their Carabao Cup final win over Aston Villa.
Guardiola is hopeful though that he’ll be back sooner rather than later.
He added: "Kevin de Bruyne is getting better, I don't know when he will come back but he is getting better."
City remain a mammoth 25 points behind leaders Liverpool , who now need just two more victories to secure a first league title since 1990.
They still remain in two competitions though as they target defending the FA Cup as well as lifting a maiden Champions League title.
