Pep Guardiola has stuck with the same starting XI that beat Norwich City last time out as Manchester City host Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.
Aymeric Laporte and Ruben Dias will again start in central defence for City with John Stones yet to make a start since signing a new contract with the club.
Nathan Ake has been named on the City bench alongside Oleksander Zinchenko, as Guardiola looks to favour the more attacking options of Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo at full-back.
The midfield remains the same with Ilkay Gundogan, Rodri and Bernardo Silva looking to create for the team in the absence of Kevin De Bruyne, with the Belgium international still recovering from injury.
Ferran Torres retains his place in the frontline following City's inability to sign a centre-forward so far this summer. It seems that the Spaniard will be a common fixture up front for Guardiola’s men unless any further signings are made.
Jack Grealish and Gabriel Jesus start on the flanks, with Jesus staying out wide after what was a great game for the Brazilian forward last time out against Norwich.
He assisted two goals in their 5-0 win against the Canaries and looked to be in his element out on the right for City, and Guardiola will be hoping he produces a similar performance today against Mikel Arteta's side.
Pep Guardiola has a 100% winning record against his former protégé in the Premier League so far and will be hoping that the team he has selected today continues that impressive run.
If City were to go behind, however, they will be able to rely on the likes of Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez as they start on the bench again.
Mahrez scored when he was brought on against Norwich last week and is always a constant threat with his classy dribbling and eye for goal.
Overall, it is a strong starting 11 again for City, but it will be important to see whether the lack of an established striker proves to be their downfall in the bigger matches this season and today will be a good indicator of that.
