Pep Guardiola might watch The Masters finale over Liverpool vs Chelsea

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will have one eye on the final hours of The Masters in addition to Liverpool's crucial Premier League clash against Chelsea.

Two goals from Raheem Sterling helped City to a 3-1 lead against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon - a result which temporarily moves them back to the top of the league.

Liverpool kicked off against Chelsea shortly after the final whistle at Selhurst Park and can leapfrog City again by beating Chelsea at Anfield.

While the City squad might be glued to what is transpiring on Merseyside, Guardiola, a keen golfer himself, will be following a compelling battle between Tiger Woods and Francesco Molinari at Augusta.

When asked if he will be watching the match at Anfield, Guardiola told Sky Sports: “I don't know, Tiger Woods and Molinari are playing in the Masters so maybe we are going to see both.

"Hopefully we can do it (watch both). And hopefully Chelsea can do a good job."
