Man City are hoping to orchestrate a swap deal for Cristiano Ronaldo as talks continue with Juventus.
Multiple reports claim that the 36-year-old has agreed personal terms with City as the former Real Madrid star looks to make his return to the Premier League, this time with the blue side of Manchester.
Juventus are willing to part ways with Ronaldo and want around £28million for the forward who has a year left on his contract.
City are expected to lodge a formal bid on Friday, but they are potentially going to look down the avenue of a swap deal.
Pep Guardiola's men have repeatedly offered players as a part exchange during transfer discussions this summer, including their summer-long negotiations for Harry Kane.

Should Manchester City sell Raheem Sterling this summer? Comment below
One of those players is Raheem Sterling who looks to be surplus to requirements at the Etihad.
The England winger was linked with a move to Arsenal earlier in the summer, suggesting that City were looking to move on from him.
His name then popped up in talks for Kane as City looked to find a way to meet Tottenham's £150m valuation.
According to The Athletic, Sterling was one of five players offered to Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, as well as Aymeric Laporte, Bernardo Silva, Gabriel Jesus and Riyad Mahrez.
Levy wasn't interested in a swap deal and demanded cash only for Kane as the striker would eventually announce that he was staying put this summer.
City have swiftly moved onto Ronaldo as it became apparent that he was available as Guardiola looked to replace Sergio Aguero who left the club this summer and joined Barcelona as a free agent.

But it's a similar situation with the Manchester United hero as City look to engineer a swap deal and it's safe to assume Sterling will be a part of those negotiations.
Sterling has been a regular under Guardiola over years, but his form dipped last season as he found himself out of the starting XI towards the end of the campaign, with Phil Foden getting the nod.
The 26-year-old produced an emphatic response during Euro 2020 as he was England's best player en route to the final, but it doesn't seem like it has changed Guardiola's opinion of him.
Sterling's exit would free up the number seven shirt, something that Guardiola would love to be able to offer Ronaldo if he makes the switch to City before the window shuts.
