Pep Guardiola believes Jurgen Klopp makes football a 'better place' as he admits he will invite the Liverpool manager into his office for a glass of wine if Manchester City beat the Reds in Sunday's titanic clash in the race for the Premier League title.
The Liverpool boss and Guardiola have faced off against each other many times as managers of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich and now in charge of the two best sides in the world - Liverpool and City.
Guardiola referenced Klopp calling Liverpool's Premier League title rivals a 'rich club' many times and highlighted how the choice of wine at the Etihad will be the best for his rival.

"If we win I'd love it. I'll invite him! Jurgen makes world football a better place to live. His message, a huge competitor. It's good. I try to have a good relation with all the managers," Guardiola said in his pre-match press conference.
"I learned it's better not to have a relation with the others. He knows, we spoke together in Germany, the message and the way his teams play. He's a good guy and I don't have any problems with him.
"As he says many times we are a rich club so the wine [with Jurgen Klopp after Man City vs Liverpool] will be perfect. High quality."
The City boss was asked if a draw would be good enough and his response was this: "We train today to sit back 90 minutes. 0-0. No, never in my life I play to draw, we play to be ourselves. We prepare different to any other team. Our build up, final third, pressing."
