Pep Guardiola makes Liverpool and Manchester City title admission and names three words that sum Reds up

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola says that Liverpool have already won the Premier League title this season - and the Spaniard has used three specific words to explain why.

Having dropped just two points all campaign in the league, the Reds are cruising at the top and will the chance to open up a 19-point lead to second place when they face West Ham United on Wednesday night.

Guardiola said: "Liverpool obviously will be champions of the Premier League, but they would be champions in Spain, champions in Italy, champions in Germany.

"They would be champions everywhere after 23 games, 22 victories, one draw.

"Liverpool are just fantastic, phenomenal, overwhelming.

"We have to accept it and learn from that."

After facing Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup this afternoon, the Reds face West Ham, Southampton and Norwich City in the league.

Then comes their Champions League last-16 first-leg clash with Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano - the same stadium in which Jurgen Klopp's men became European champions back in June.
