Pep Guardiola makes Kylian Mbappe injury prediction ahead of Man City vs PSG

Pep Guardiola says that he has no doubts Kylian Mbappe will be fit to face Manchester City in tomorrow's Champions League semi-final second leg.

The Blues boss took the unusual step of predicting Paris Saint-Germain's team news before his team square up to the French champions with a 2-1 lead from the first leg in France.

Mbappe missed his team's weekend league win over Lens with a thigh injury he had picked up before he played against City last week.

And he was filmed limping on Monday, fuelling rumours that he might not be ready for a game in which the prize is a place in the final in Istanbul on May 29.

Guardiola had already revealed that he has a fully fit squad apart from defender Eric Garcia, who was missing at the weekend through illness.

But when asked about Mbappe, the City boss gave a smile and made a firm prediction: "Absolutely, I'm looking forward to it.

"He's going to play. I'm looking forward to him playing. For the football, for the game itself, hopefully he can play."
