Pep Guardiola has no problem 'sacrificing' Gabriel Jesus to sign Harry Kane this summer, according to a report
Manchester City have serious interest in making a move for the England captain during the transfer window after the striker expressed his desire to leave Spurs in pursuit of a new challenge to compete for silverware.
Guardiola's men can offer him precisely that after securing the Premier League title last season.
But Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has no intention to sell his prized asset with claims City will be required to up their £100m offer that has been reported.
To sweeten the deal, City have offered either Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Aymeric Laporte, Bernardo Silva and Jesus, who is currently on international duty with Brazil at the Copa America, as a makeweight in a potential part-exchange for Kane.

But if Spurs are not interested in a swap deal, City cold look to cash in on one or more of the selected five to get closer to Spurs' asking price for Kane.
Jesus is one player who has attracted attention from several clubs including Juventus with Max Allegri viewing the Brazilian as their number one choice for a new striker.
But Gazzetta dello Sport claim Cristiano Ronaldo's future, who has been linked with an exit from Turin, would have to be sorted first before they could make their move for Jesus.
The report says that has moved a step closer, however, as Portugal's exit from the Euros means that Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes can now address his future.
And on City's part, Guardiola would have no issue 'sacrificing' Jesus to pave the way for Kane's arrival at the Etihad.
Sterling was raging that he was offered as a makeweight to Spurs and City could have scuppered their bid to convince him to sign a new contract.
The 26-year-old was open to extending his current deal despite becoming frustrated by his lack of playing time under Guardiola towards the end of the season.
City are adamant Kane will not be a direct replacement for Sergio Aguero who joined Barcelona as a free agent this summer.
