Pep Guardiola gives Man City injury updates on Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Rodri after Chelsea clash

Pep Guardiola gave an update on Manchester City's injury situation after their Premier League win over Chelsea.

Rodri, David Silva and Sergio Aguero all limped off during the 2-1 victory to make things more difficult for the home side as they looked to see out the win - although it was unclear at the time how serious any of the problems were.

Aguero is the big worry for City .

Their club record goalscorer is also their top scorer in the Premier League this season but took an age to come off the pitch and hobbled straight down the tunnel after being substituted.

Guardiola described Aguero's situation as "not good" and while the striker will undergo further tests on Sunday to check the extent of the problem. What was thought as a kick to the leg is feared to be a muscle problem that could keep the striker out for a longer spell.

Aguero's absence would leave Gabriel Jesus as the only fit recognised striker in the squad, although Raheem Sterling has played in a central role at times this season.

The news on Rodri and David Silva is more positive. Both players only recently returned from injuries and the pair were substituted with cramp after playing in what was an especially tiring game and neither player is expected to be out for the next game.
