Pep Guardiola gives injury latest on Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero ahead of Palace clash

Manchester City are set to have Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and John Stones available for the game against Crystal Palace tomorrow (Saturday).

Pep Guardiola's men travel to south London to face Palace at Selhurst Park, with City looking to try and close the gap on league leaders Liverpool ahead of their game against Manchester United on Sunday.

And Guardiola has confirmed that De Bruyne and Stones are in contention to feature against Palace.

"Some of them are better. Kevin [De Bruyne] is back, John [Stones] trained well the last two days, [Benjamin] Mendy as well," Guardiola said, speaking at his pre-match press conference.

In addition, Guardiola said that Sergio Aguero is fine and ready to play, despite being involved in a car accident earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the Man City boss has been full of praise for his opposite number Roy Hodgson ahead of the game, with Guardiola praising the work he has done since joining Palace more than two years ago.

"I think since Roy Hodgson took over the team with 0 points and helped to avoid relegation, they have always made a really good season," he said.

"They have incredibly talented players."
