Pep Guardiola has a simple gameplan that he wants his Manchester City side to deploy in their Champions League semi-final with Paris Saint-Germain.
City are in the semi-finals for the first time under Guardiola, having overcome Borussia Dortmund in a tense but entertaining double-header. Now, they face a similar opponent in PSG, with Erling Haaland's threat on the counter attack replaced by Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Undoubtedly two of the world's best, most dangerous forwards, Guardiola admitted the pair are almost impossible to stop, especially when Angel Di Maria is added to the equation.
So speaking in his pre-match press conference, Guardiola said he wants his side to concentrate on their own game, saying their best chance of stopping PSG's dangermen is by depriving them of the ball.
"Always I believe the quality of the players there are not defensive strategies to stop. They are too good," he said when asked about Neymar.
"I try to sleep well last night and I slept well when I didn't think of this. They are incredible, top, top players, hopefully they can play. We will try to stop them, we train well all together as a team, play good football as a team and try to score goals. It will not be a surprise.
"Of course we have to adjust something, when you play against these players. At the same time, we've fought arriving at this stage for many many years, this group of players in four or five it wouldn't make sense to not be who we are.
"We have to adjust something like we adjusted against Tottenham, we will adjust against Zaha against Palace next game, this is normal. We try to impose, to be what we have done these five years together. We try to be ourselves and get the result we need for the second leg."
Expanding on his answer, Guardiola was asked whether it was possible to keep the ball against a side as good in possession themselves as PSG.
But the City manager admitted he would rather take the game to their opponents and play in the way his side know best, than change to combat any PSG players.
"The best balance is to have the ball. If you have the ball all the time the balance is already there," he said.
"We are going to concede counter attacks, we are going to concede chances from PSG. It's impossible. If you defend so deep they have the quality. Not just Mbappe, Neymar, Di Maria, incredible players. Verratti, how extraordinary he is, Paredes, the physicality they have, the personality, especially Marquinhos, a good keeper. They have a lot of weapons.
"They are used to playing teams in the French league who sit back 90 minutes and they have to fight for resources. When you play against a team like Bayern Munich and attack, attack, they can kill you on the counter attack. That is not the best way to defend against the team who have everything. The only way is to minimise these things is to impose your game like we have for five years.
"Of course Lyon beat us on the counter attack and two or three mistakes we were done. But we tried to impose our game, sometimes it's not possible. I learned from my experience in this competition that as much as you are close to who you are, the most chances you have to get through.
"When you think about the opponents, what they do, because they have so good - but it's good Madrid as well and Chelsea. Just in case Bayern were there, the same and imagine now Barcelona on their incredibly top form. At this stage you don't find opponents without skills.
"We faced Dortmund with Haaland an incredibly top striker and good people like Reus, unfortunately Jadon Sancho didn't play but every team has skills. We know the opponents. This kind of games we impose to our opponents, our way way we enjoy to play is have the ball, when you have the ball and use in the right moments and right positions, the team is balanced. Not because we are defending more or deeper, that's not true, it's the way you play with the ball and create stability in the team. That's what we are going to try to do tomorrow."
