Pep Guardiola says he and his Manchester City players are relishing the pressure of closing out the title race.
City spurned the chance to wrap up a third title in four years by losing 2-1 at home to Champions League final opponents Chelsea.
It means City, who next play at Newcastle on Friday, need three points from their final three games to be crowned champions.
They could, of course, be handed the title before the visit to St James’ Park should Manchester United lose to Leicester on Tuesday night.
Liverpool could also make the game against Newcastle academic when they face United on Thursday night.
But Guardiola is focussing on making sure his side complete their part of the bargain.
He said: “We’re going to try to win at Newcastle and, if not, after that we’re going to try to win the game at Brighton.
“It’s still not over, you have to win the games, and we’re going to try to do it in the next game against Newcastle.

When will Manchester City finally get their hands on the Premier League trophy? Have your say in the comments.
“If this is pressure to win the title, then this is the pressure I want, and we need this type or pressure to be a top side, a top squad.
“We did our best to win, we had the chances, unfortunately it could not be possible for different reasons.
“We’re going to prepare now, mentally, with one or two days off and after we’re going to focus, analyse Newcastle and try to win the game.”
Raheem Sterling, who put City ahead against Chelsea, said: “It’s disappointing, having taken the lead and having a chance to go 2-0 up.
“It’s frustrating, but we have other games to go. It was a day to get over the line and sadly we couldn’t.
“We’ve got games and we’re confident we’ll get over the line. It should have been done, it wasn’t, but we’ll go again against Newcastle.”
