Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich this summer.
The French winger was brilliant for the Bundesliga champions throughout the 2020/21 season - providing 12 assists for his team-mates, but now wants to leave the Allianz Arena.
That's according to German outlet BILD, who are reporting that the Blues, as well as Man United, have been put on red alert in regards to Coman 's future.
The 24-year-old has reportedly told his agent Pini Zahavi to approach Premier League clubs over a summer switch, despite having over two years remaining on his deal with the German giants.
However, United prefer Jadon Sancho - with the Borussia Dortmund and England winger being Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 's first choice signing this summer, according to the report.
This could be good news for Chelsea, with Thomas Tuchel wanting to improve on his Champions League-winning squad over the next few months.
With Coman, they have a proven player who comes with two great references from two of football's biggest names: Thomas Muller and Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola managed the Frenchman during his time with Bayern Munich, when he was just a teenager - and the admiration was apparent back then.
"Kingsley is still only 19 years old. [Technical director] Michael Reschke brought him in," the now Manchester City boss was quoted as saying by Abendzeitung.
"He is a typical attacker, who is very fast and can play on either wing. He has a lot of quality going forward.
"We have plenty of options on the wings with Coman, Douglas Costa and Arjen Robben.
"Coman is very important for Bayern. He has always done very well for us and I can only say good things about him."
His Bayern team-mate, Muller, is also a huge fan of the France international.
He told Bundesliga's official website : "We have many players who have very good qualities.
"We know that Kingsley has extraordinary skills that aren't easy to find. If he puts his foot down on the gas – and he has incredible horsepower – every opponent has a tough time against him.
"He worked the left flank well. He's always been fleet-footed. If he can now add chances that lead to goals then he is solid gold to us."
According to CIES, Coman is valued at £60.1million (€70m) after enjoying another fine season for Bayern.
Tuchel will be looking to put his own stamp on the squad he inherited from Frank Lampard and his familiarity with the Bundesliga could see him turn there.
