Pep Guardiola and Sergio Aguero react to Nicolas Otamendi's overhead kick for Man City

Manchester City bounced back from their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last time out by beating Sheffield United 1-0 at Bramall Lane on Tuesday evening.

Sergio Aguero scored the only goal of the game, taking his tally in the Premier League this season to 16 goals in 18 matches, as City moved six points clear of Leicester City in second spot.

While the result won't stand out as one of the highlights of City's season, there were some eye-catching moments during the match in South Yorkshire.

One of the more surprising incidents saw defender Nicolas Otamendi try to extend City's lead with an acrobatic overhead kick, which forced Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson into a save.

City certainly have many talents in their squad capable of pulling off an overhead kick but it's unlikely that Otamendi would spring to mind as one of the first you'd expect to see the action from.

Pep Guardiola and Aguero certainly agree, as clips published by the club's social media account showed the pair reacting to the highlight from the match.

Both seemed to express their surprise and had their head in their hands, clearly demonstrating that they, like many others in the stadium, thought Otamendi had become the second Argentine to score in the match.
