People wowed by UK's first ever colour-changing vodka that 'looks like candy floss'

Vodka lovers, rejoice: there's a fun new colour-changing tipple on the block and people are seriously impressed by the magic that happens once you add it to your glass.

The bubblegum flavoured vodka was created by British premium alcohol brand Au Vodka and is now available to pre-order in the UK. It's sure to impress guests during the party season as the mesmerising liquid turns into a different hue once a mixer is added to the drink.

A light blue shade in the bottle, once lemonade is added to the drink it instantly turns a bright purple. Once settled, the blue colour returns to combine with the purple, giving a fun bubblegum effect to your drink.

The vodka retails for £34.99 (Au Vodka)

The brand claims that its new vodka is 'bursting with flavour' and if the striking colour is anything to go by, it seems as though customers are in for a sweet treat.

Known for its extravagant packaging, Au Vodka has housed its new bubblegum vodka in a signature bright gold bottle, which retails for £34.99 on the brand's website.

Pre-orders will be ready to ship from 5 of October, but if you'd prefer to pick it up in store, Sainsbury's will be stocking the new drink from the same date.

Au Vodka is also offering its first 5,000 customers a free gift when purchasing its new colour-changing booze, making the deal even sweeter.

People have been quite excited by the new mysterious drink since the brand unveiled it on social media this week, as they can't wait to get their hands on it.

One person wrote "Get in ma belly" while another said "Ol look at that".

Plenty of others have said that they have ordered the drink, with a few social media users writing that the colour-changing hue reminds them of candy floss.

One person penned "Cotton candy" and another added "Yummie. Ordered mine. Can't wait".

A third person commented "This is going to be banging".

The funky vodka is the latest unusual spirit to launch in the UK, just in time for Christmas shopping to begin.

Us Brits love a themed alcoholic beverage, particularly during the festive season, as proved by M&S's light-up gin globes that sell out every year.

The sparkly globe bottles house flavoured gin liqueur that's peppered with gold flecks. They are such a big hit with customers that people started selling the drinks on Ebay at hiked up prices once they sold out last year.
