People who drink black coffee are 'more likely to be psychopaths'

Black coffee is many people's vice in the fast pace world of work. It's bitter and gives you that morning kick you need.

But, while many of us are self-confessed coffee addicts, people who drink black coffee are "more likely to be psychopaths".

That is according to a new study by Appetite that surveyed over 1,000 adults.

The participants underwent a personality test and provided their taste preferences when it came to favourite foods, drinks and flavours.

These tests looked at a variety of traits - including sadism, narcissism and psychopathy - finding that those of us who crave bitterness have links to psychopathic behaviour.

But it's OK because apparently they're not say black coffee drinkers are murderers just more likely to exhibit low-level pyschocathy.

This covers inflicting pain on others and everyday sadism - nothing too serious then...*sips black coffee*
