People urged to walk along missing student Olisa Odukwe's last known route

People have been urged to walk along the same route that missing student Olisa Odukwe was known to take on Friday (April 30).

Police say they are 'extremely concerned' for the welfare of the 20-year-old after he disappeared in the early hours of Saturday, May 1.

An Instagram page called HelpfindOlisa has posted a picture of his believed last route around the city - including College Green, Hotwells, Ashton Court and Redland.

It reads: "Right everyone, so this is the route Olisa walked on Friday afternoon.

"Would be great if tomorrow people could search along it, particularly around Ashton Court."

Police describe Olisa as "wearing a grey YG hoodie with a picture of a black goat on the front, and either black shorts or black joggers."

A force spokesperson said: "We’re extremely concerned for the welfare of Olisa Odukwe, who has gone missing in Bristol.

"Olisa, 20, was last seen at his address in the Redland area of Bristol in the early hours of Saturday 1 May."

Bristol University has said it is offering support to his fellow students.

Anyone who knows where Olisa is should call 999 quoting reference 5221094539.

Police are urging people with any other information which could help to ring 101 and give the same reference.
