Getting tattoos is a completely personal choice, and whatever and wherever you decide to get is completely your business.
But one mum has grown sick of the misconceptions about her tattoos, especially the ones on her face, with some people even branding her as a criminal due to the placement of the inkings.
Clare Elsie-Rose, 33, said she's fearful about people assuming she's a bad mum because of her tattoos.
Speaking to the Sun, she quashed these misunderstandings, saying that people assume she's "wild or a criminal" - but it's just not the case.

Clare, who lives with her four children aged between six months and 12, and her partner of three years, driver Jonny, 30, also admitted that people have asked her insensitive questions about her tattoos - especially the 14 on her face.
Some of the questions include "Why would you do that?" and she's had comments such as "You used to be so pretty!" but Clare doesn't appreciate these comments as they imply that she's ruined her looks.
The mum, from Lincolnshire, insisted: "I'm a good mum, I have a successful business and I'm in a secure relationship - there's nothing wild about my life and I love nothing more than a night in, in my pyjamas!"
The mum admitted that "judgement is really upped" after getting her face tattooed, and she gets "ten times as many looks." She even said that when she's shopping with her kid, she gets "followed by the security guard", stating that often people cross the road to avoid walking past her.
Clare said that she got her first tattoo when she was 15, saying that she was "too young" but she got a fairy on her wrist and loved it - but she's since had it covered up.
Then she got a large piece across her chest made up of stars, and a mermaid tattoo on her neck at 18. But her mum wasn't impressed with her and refused to speak to her for "a couple of weeks."
She used to try and hide her tattoos when she was younger, but after a health scare at 25, she decided to take her inkings to the next level.
She realised "we don't know how long we're here for" after being told she had a tumour on her lung, which thankfully turned out to be benign - so she decided to get tattooed on her face.
Clare said "life is too short not to express yourself" but she is aware of the judgement that she receives, but she's learned to deal with the sometimes harsh criticism.
She said: "I have 'love' and 'hope' under each eye, 'PMA' which stands for positive mental attitude on my right cheek, the word fierce along my right jawline, 'Mama' on the other side, 'Belle Ami' which means beautiful soul over my left eyebrow and '222' which is an angel number."
