People throng Haryana home minister Anil Vij’s Janata Darbar with grievances even during rain in Ambala

AMBALA: Amid heavy rain, a large number of people with their grievances from across Haryana thronged Janata Darbar (public meeting) of home and health minister Anil Vij in Ambala Cantonment on Saturday.

Vij himself went into the rush of people and received their complaints.

A woman of Faridabad alleged that her kidney was removed by deceit, for which, the home minister ordered to form a special investigation team (SIT) under the leadership of ADC. The SIT will also include a DSP and district chief medical officer (CMO).

"It is a very big crime and a sensitive issue. Nobody can remove anybody’s kidney. The one who removed the body part, who is beneficiary and who performed the transplantation, are all guilty. The SIT will investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure punishment to guilty", said Anil Vij.

Notably, in a change of decision about his public meeting, Vij has now decided to hold these meetings on every second and fourth Saturday of the month.

A Rohtak based woman alleged that her father has been murdered by some accused persons but all of them have not been arrested. Vij ordered Rohtak IGP to form an SIT to probe the matter. Similarly, IGP Sonipat has been ordered to form an SIT to probe a murder case of a Sonipat based woman’s husband. A Hisar based complainant alleged that he had been duped of Rs 65 lakh by some people in lieu of the crypto currency, for which, the minister sought investigation report besides ordering probe through SIT.

A Gurgaon based person alleged fraud of Rs 133 crore in a property deal, and police inaction. Vij ordered Gurgaon police commissioner to form an SIT and investigate the matter. A woman from Mullana, Ambala, alleged inaction in a case of murder of her child, for which, the minister ordered to form SIT.

Rahul coming to Haryana without any intimation is against security measures: Anil Vij

Haryana home minister Anil Vij said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Sonipat without any intimation is against security measures. Notably, Rahul Gandhi visited agriculture fields in Sonipat and transplanted paddy with farmers and labourers on Saturday.

"We have no objection to Rahul Gandhi visiting Haryana, but he comes without intimation is a big security issue. He did not give information about his visit to the state police and visiting without intimation could be dangerous. It could be in the habit of Rahul Gandhi to repeatedly visit Haryana without intimating the security agencies but it is against the security measure", said Anil Vij.
