People solving optical illusion of hidden lamp in seven seconds are a 'genius'

Optical illusions are a fun way to learn more about yourself, or even just to exercise your brain.

The latest image is said to determine who is a genius, as those who can spot the one thing in rapid time are said to have "extraordinary intelligence". The picture, shared by JagranJosh, shows an elderly bearded man dressed in an old fashioned green and robe.

With a walking stick in hand, he is seen walking down a cobbled street past some houses. This puzzle asks you to look for a lamp - but in less than 10 seconds and if you can spot it in seven seconds, you may be extremely smart.

As reported by The Mirror, takers have been left scratching their heads at trying to solve it, which is understandable as the puzzle is pretty tricky. But you can look below to figure it out yourself, or check further for the circled answer if you can't see it.

If you're still struggling to find the lamp, try looking at the image upside down – this might help your brain find the solution. If not, keep scrolling and we'll reveal the location of the mystery object.

If you still haven't found it, don't worry, here's the answer. Look just above the man's head. The answer is circled in the image below.

Studies have shown that the more you exercise your brain, the smarter you tend to be, so why not try out some other ones? Another IQ brainteaser asks you to spot a hidden handbag in an image in 12 seconds.

Or if you're looking to learn more about your personality, another puzzle shows your least attractive quality - based on what hidden symbol you see in the picture first.

How long did it take for you to find it? Let us know in the comments below.
