A woman was relentlessly mocked for her manicure when she shared a celebratory photo of her new engagement ring.
The bride-to-be posted a snap of an unusual shell ring on social media, posing with her hand against a beautiful beach scene.
But instead of offering their congratulations, people were distracted by her fake nails.
The woman's manicure caused an outcry thanks to what looks like several lays of pink gel polish, making them stand out from the nail bed.
The photo was shared by a friend in a wedding Facebook group and has attracted a number of comments, reports Mail Online.
One wrote: "The person has tons of pictures to show off her wealth, yet she couldn't get to a decent manicurist."
Another added: "Them nails probably got doo doo underneath."
A third commented: "I can't get past the nails to shame the ring."
It's not the first time a questionable manicure has overshadowed a happy engagement photo, and earlier this month the Mirror reported on another similar story.
Another woman's engagement snap was shared on the Facebook group That's It, I'm Nail Shaming , and people were shocked by the woman's nails.
One commenter wrote: “I couldn't even focus on the ring after seeing the nails".
Another added: "I'm not normally speechless when I look at these kinda photos but damn … I'm 100% speechless."
