Two people in West Bridgford are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.
The Kirkfell Close neighbours netted the windfall when NG2 6QT was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Sunday December 6.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners and said: "What an amazing way to round off the week, congratulations to our winners in West Bridgford.
"I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special."
A minimum of 32 percent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted by Theirworld which has received over £7.3 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefited from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
