And now another social media user has shared a little-known fact about postboxes and it's fair to say it's been blowing people's minds.
A poster named @fecklessfox100 shared a look at the bottom of postboxes and it turns out they're a lot bigger than we thought.

Alongside a picture of three postboxes, they wrote: "Today is the day I learnt that they're not just attached to the floor!"
A screenshot of the post was shared on Instagram by @TheArchbishopOfBanterbury where it went viral, being liked over 107,000 times.
Thousands of people went to the comments to share their shock over what the bottom of a postbox really looks like.
One person said: "What the actual f***?!"
Another replied: "It's like seeing a teacher outside of school."
A third wrote: "Sorry what???"
Someone else posted: "I did not know that!"
A different user proclaimed it to be "random s**t we like to know about".
"This is why I have trust issues," admitted a sixth.
A seventh person branded it "Post Office wizardry" while a fellow Instagram user simply thought it was "mind-boggling".
"Stop it," begged a ninth person, who clearly couldn't process this new bit of information.
